We’re excited to introduce The Beat, our new monthly blog series that takes you behind the scenes at Ally Medical ER. At its core, The Beat is about the heart of what we do—sharing the people, stories, and everyday moments that make our emergency rooms unique. From highlighting the dedication of our team members to exploring the compassion that guides every decision, this series is here to give you an inside perspective you won’t find anywhere else.

At Ally, we believe exceptional care starts with genuine connection. That’s why The Beat exists: to open our doors and show you how we serve our communities with both expertise and heart.
This Month’s Focus: What Does It Mean to Be a Community-Focused ER?
Being community-focused goes far beyond the care patients receive inside our ERs. For us, it’s about bringing that same compassion and support into the neighborhoods we call home.
If you’ve been around town lately, you may have seen our team cheering from the stands at a high school football game, hosting a free CPR class, or showing up at local events to lend a hand. However you’ve crossed paths with us, our goal is always the same—to build genuine connections and support the people who make our communities so special.
We also love partnering with organizations that share our values. This summer, our annual donation drive with Austin Pets Alive! brought in more than 6,000 donations for animals in need. And during the holiday season, our toy drive for LifeWorks helped bring joy to children and families facing difficult circumstances. These efforts are just a small way showing our communities that we are there for them.
Whether it’s cheering on local sports, helping at school activities, or joining neighborhood traditions, our team is always looking for ways to show up. We don’t just want to be the emergency room you turn to in a crisis—we want to be a trusted part of your everyday life.
Healthcare is about more than treatment—it’s about relationships. By giving back, supporting local initiatives, and building meaningful connections, we’re investing in healthier, stronger communities across Texas. These moments of connection reflect our gratitude for the trust you place in us every day.
Behind all this outreach is a passionate group of Community Outreach Coordinators, led by Lyndsay Bredahl. Lyndsay guides and inspires this team across Texas, ensuring each Ally facility stays deeply connected to the neighborhoods it serves. As she puts it:
“At Ally Medical ER, every smile we share and every connection we make is our way of saying thank you to the community that makes us who we are.” – Lyndsay Bredahl
Stay Connected
The Beat is just getting started. Each month, we’ll answer a new behind-the-scenes question about what makes Ally Medical ER unique—from how our teams work together to how we stay connected with our communities. This series is our way of giving you a closer look at the values and people at the heart of our mission. Be sure to follow along—you won’t want to miss what’s next.
